The mission of University Advancement is to involve alumni and friends of the university in raising Towson University鈥檚 philanthropic and alumni engagement profile in support of the institution鈥檚 strategic priorities. Advancing Towson University鈥檚 interests by increased financial resources and alumni participation is critical to support academic programs and to respond to Maryland鈥檚 educational and workforce needs. Therefore, through the offices of Development, Alumni Relations and the Towson University Foundation, University Advancement strives to attract individual, foundation and corporate support as well as provide appropriate stewardship to all gifts to the university.
